i used more reverse applique here which i am completely happy with. i love this technique and find it really effective especially with the colours and designs i have chosen to work with. again i would see this at the bottom of a skirt or garment.
AND THE EMBROIDERY IS COMPLETE! this design was very time consuming but totally worth it because it has turned out to be so beautiful. i love the intricate bead work, especially the standing beads which i am very happy with. i have learnt the new technique of french knots for this piece which i also find very effective on this design. this is one of my most beloved designs.
i find this design to be very pop art inspired with the popping colours and stripes. i enjoyed creating the screen prints too with lines of colours to create lovely stripes. they have all been sewn together to create this design.
