beading

so i experimented with some beading with this piece. i think the white beads really stand out against the pink fabric, but i am not quite sure on the colour combination. i'll carry on with beading but on another piece; i can't imagine developing this piece.

Embroidery time!!

this is possibly some of my most favourite work so far!!

i have truly enjoyed the embroidery process and learning new techniques. after completing the screen prints a few weeks ago i was keen to buy coordinating threads and beads. these have been put to very good use on this beautiful design. i have learnt to french knot and i am very happy with my slip stitching. this is a design i would like to continue working on, and thinking ahead it could even be used as one of my finals. i am so happy with these designs and have definitely fallen in love with embroidery!

lino cutting

i haven't done lino cutting in a while so i was really excited to do it again. i used my grandads old lino tools complete in original box! and i created a lovely rose design, i can't wait to start printing
